The Town of Vienna offers residents several opportunities to share their time and talents and give back to the community.
Volunteer opportunities include:
- Community events – Volunteers help plan, set up, clean up, staff booths, and assist with activities and more
- Town Clean-Up Days – Held in April and November, volunteers help pick up trash clean stream banks, and spruce up various sections of Town. Call 703-255-6360 to request hosting a separate clean-up event for yourself or community organization.
- Girl and Boy Scout troop projects, including Eagle Scout and Gold Award projects
- High school work training programs
- Teen Center programs
- Potomac Watershed Clean-Up Day, hosted by the Alice Ferguson Foundation and held in mid-April; volunteers are accepted throughout the year
- Marking storm drains with reminders to keep local streams and watersheds pollution free; for more information or to volunteer, send an email or call 703-319-8638
