Temporary signage

Throughout Fairfax County's emergency declaration related to the coronavirus, banners and other temporary signage in the Town of Vienna will be considered exempt. No fees or applications are required for use of these temporary signs during this time. See more information about code requirements.

Temporary permits

The Town of Vienna has created three emergency ordinances to help businesses pivot throughout the pandemic, including expanding commercial activity outdoors. The three ordinances cover outdoor commercial activity, institutional outdoor operations, and child day care businesses in commercial zones. Learn more at viennava.gov/temporarypermits.

Vienna Business Association - free marketing resource

The Vienna Business Association has set up a Facebook group - Vienna VA Business News - through which local businesses may share information about changes to their business services or hours as well as promotions.

U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA)

Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL)

Small businesses and nonprofit organizations that have suffered substantial economic injury may be eligible for an SBA EIDL.

SCORE Mentorship Assistance

SCORE is a volunteer organization that has partnered with the SBA for many years to provide businesses with free, expert mentorship dedicated to helping small businesses grow and achieve goals. SCORE has provided education and mentorship to more than 1 million entrepreneurs.
