Vienna Youth Players (VYP) is back this summer with the Disney dance sensation, "Newsies!" This classic show traces its roots back to the Newsboy Strike of 1899, where newsies – boys and girls who sold newspapers on the street – went up against two newspaper publishers, Joseph Pulitzer of the New York World, and William Randolph Hearst of the New York Journal, to fight for the chance to earn a livable wage. Newsies takes this real, life changing event to the stage with an explosion of energetic music and dance.
