This year’s Green Expo will feature the following “Ask Me Anything” topics. There is also an opportunity to win in a drawing for your own backyard composter or rain barrel!

7:30 p.m. "How to recycle right," presented by Mala Persaud, owner of Trace, Vienna's "zero-waste store," and Charlie Forbes, the Public Works EnvironmentalServices Manager for the Fairfax County Solid Waste Management Program.

8:00 p.m. "Solar and energy efficiency tax benefits for homeowners" presented by Joanne Burke, CFP, CPA/PFS, M.A., of Birch Street Financial Advisors, and Meredith Haines, of Citizens' ClimateLobby (Fairfax Chapter).

8:30 p.m. "How to plant a tree right--and preserve your investment" presented by Scott Diffenderfer, urban arborist for the Town of Vienna.
