Vienna Theatre Company Presents: An Old-Fashioned Family Murder

October 16, 2026

A murder. A mystery. A mother. It’s a dark and stormy night at the mansion of elderly Colonel Claythorne, and the pompous murder-mystery author Arthur Whittington is holding court with the Colonel’s family: his eldest daughter, Clarice, who is cold and glamorous; Clarice’s attractive fiancé, Jasper; Claythorne’s youngest daughter, Dotty, who is a big fan of Whittington.

Halloween on the Green

Join in the fall family fun with Halloween on the Green, presented by
the Town of Vienna Parks and Recreation Department.

Activities include a spooky craft, photo area, games, a reptile show, and a chance to decorate your own pumpkin (while supplies last). Everyone is sure to have a howling good time!

Halloween Parade

The Town of Vienna has hosted a Halloween parade for area families since 1946. This fun, free parade features originally created floats, bands, costumed kids, and more.

Mayor & Chief @ Your Service

“Mayor & Chief at Your Service” is a community event where residents can connect with Mayor Linda Colbert and Police Chief Dan Janickey to learn how regional partnerships, 21st century technology, and good old fashioned detective work helped close the book on some recent local and regional crimes.
