♦ Vienna Remembers World War II Exhibit Is Open

Historic Vienna's exhibit dedicated to the veterans of World War II, their families and loved ones is open. The exhibit tells the war histories of Vienna residents who offered to come forward and share their life stories with them. The exhibit will offer viewers a chance to see the roles these people played during this pivotal time in history. Please plan on coming to the exhibit during museum hours, Wednesday to Saturday noon to 4 p.m. and Sundays 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

♦ Annual Church Street Holiday Stroll!

December 1, 2008.
Santa will arrive to greet children at the Historic Freeman Store. Various local musical groups will perform throughout the evening. Mayor Jane Seeman will light the Holiday Tree at Mill Street. Church Street will be closed to traffic during the event. All merchants along Church Street will remain open for holiday shoppers.
