Town Hall Closed on September 6.
In observance of Labor Day, Town Hall will be closed on Monday, September 6. There will be regular trash collection for residents on the Monday route on September 6.


Sesquicentennial Committee Meeting on September 21.
The Vienna Civil War Sesquicentennial Committee is seeking individuals interested in helping develop a program of events in recognition of the 150th anniversary of the Civil War in 2011.

Register for the 64th Annual Halloween Parade.
The Annual Vienna Halloween Parade will be on October 27, 2010. This year's theme is "Pride of Vienna- Sportsmanship Through Players, Coaches and Fans" with Mr. Mark Meana and Mr. Bill Cervnak serving as this year's Co-Grand Marshals. If you would like to participate, please submit your completed 2010 Parade Packet by Thursday, September 30, 2010.

Community Center Closed: September 3 The Vienna Community Center will be closed on Friday, September 3, for carpet replacement. The Center will be open on Saturday, September 4, and Monday, September 6, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and closed on Sunday, September 5. The Center will resume normal operating hours on Tuesday, September 7.


Job Opening: Police Officer The Town of Vienna is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Police Officer. If you are, or know someone, who is interested in working for the Vienna Police Department, please submit your resume to the Administrative Services Office. Exams are scheduled for September 8 and 11, 2010; job closes September 12.

Special Pickup Deadline: October 1 Town of Vienna Residents must request a Special Pickup by 4:30 p.m. on Friday, October 1, in order to receive a Special Pickup this year. This is a service for Town of Vienna residents ONLY. No orders for Special Pickups will be taken from October through January due to leaf collections.
